Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Kelpic, from pricing and features to integrations and security.

What is Kelpic?

Kelpic is property management software designed to help property managers run their entire portfolio from one platform. It includes tenant management, rent collection, accounting, maintenance tracking, an AI assistant, and dynamic shared workspaces for collaborating with owners, accountants, and contractors. Kelpic is built in Greenville, SC.

How much does Kelpic cost?

Kelpic uses unit-based pricing — a flat monthly rate determined by how many units you manage — starting at $8.99/month on the Standard plan. Every plan includes unlimited properties with full access to all features.

What features does Kelpic include?

Every Kelpic plan includes full access to all features: tenant applications and screening with shared rental history, online rent collection, built-in accounting with bank sync via Plaid, maintenance request tracking, dynamic shared workspaces for owners and accountants, an AI chat assistant, a tenant portal with marketplace, and a native iOS app. There are no feature gates or hidden add-ons — every user gets the complete platform.

What types of properties does Kelpic support?

Kelpic supports residential rental properties of all sizes — from single-family homes and duplexes to large multifamily apartment buildings. Whether you manage a handful of units or a large portfolio, every plan includes unlimited properties. Kelpic also supports multi-entity management, so property managers who operate under multiple LLCs or ownership structures can manage everything from one account.

Does Kelpic integrate with my bank?

Yes. Kelpic includes built-in bank account sync powered by Plaid, connecting securely to thousands of financial institutions across the United States. This means your transactions are automatically imported into Kelpic for reconciliation and reporting — no manual data entry required. Bank sync is included with every plan at no additional cost.

Can my accountant access Kelpic?

Yes. Kelpic features dynamic shared workspaces that allow you to invite your accountant, property owners, or other collaborators into your account with role-based access controls. Your accountant can view financial reports, transaction history, and accounting data without seeing sensitive tenant information. Shared workspaces are included with every plan.

Is my data secure?

Data security is a core priority for Kelpic. The platform is built with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and secure authentication. Bank integrations are handled through Plaid, which is SOC 2 Type II certified and used by major financial institutions. We will never sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
